Terms and Conditions

For CHDC Events, Partnerships and Competitions

EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering for or attending any event run by CHDC. By registering for or attending a CHDC event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  • Tickets: Should an event’s registered delegate be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is always welcome at no extra charge. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the event commencement date will receive a refund less a handling fee commensurate with registration fees incurred. No refund will be given after this date. All cancellations and substitutions must be advised in writing to CHDC. No refunds will be made for non-attendance and any outstanding fees remain payable.
  • Privacy: Information provided by event delegates at the time of registration will be used to administer the event, including any catering, transport, accommodation, sponsorship and trade exhibits (where applicable). Data obtained will remain the property of CHDC. Click here to access a full copy of CHDC’s privacy policy.
  • Smile, You May be on Camera: Your attendance at CHDC’s events may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used on our websites, publications, social media or by other media and marketing channels. If you do not wish your image to be published, please notify CHDC before the event.
  • Liability: CHDC has prepared event information as general reference only. CHDC has made every effort to ensure that these details are correct at the time of distribution and is not liable for any inaccuracy or misrepresentation, whether by inclusion, omission, or change to or withdrawal of the event. Neither CHDC, our agents or servants, nor event sponsors, exhibitors, co-hosts or partners is responsible for any changes in the structure or content of the event program including speakers and any general or specific information published relative to the event. CHDC’s liability for damages of any nature sustained by attendees or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to their personal property in connection with an event is limited to the face value of the attendee’s ticket or registration fee for attending the event.

PARTNERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering into any partnership arrangement with CHDC. By entering into a partnership arrangement with CHDC, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  • Conditions of Payment: To secure your partnership package, complete and return the relevant booking form. Confirmation of your partnership and entitlements will follow by email together with a tax invoice. Full payment is required upon confirmation of your partnership selection. Payment plans can be negotiated for larger partnerships or to assist in financial year payments. Partners will be accepted at CHDC’s discretion on receipt of a completed (including signed) booking form and full payment. Failure to pay your invoice may result in your partnership package being released for another interested party to take up.
  • Cancellations: All cancellations must be received in writing to CHDC. In the event of the cancellation of partnership, unless that particular area of partnership is resold, CHDC reserves the right to retain monies received. All cancellations two weeks prior to events may be subject to 100% forfeit of full amount of partnership.
  • No guarantee: CHDC does not guarantee exclusivity of a partner’s products, services or content, nor attendee numbers, level of commercial activity or publication reach or readership.
