Diverse, growing, capable
ADVANCING AGRIBUSINESS
The Central Highlands is one of Queensland’s key agricultural producers, generating over $747 million in output annually.
The region has the largest beef cattle inventory in Australia and is also characterised by thriving broadacre cropping and horticultural industries, sustained by irrigation sourced from water storage on the Nogoa and Comet Rivers.
Part of CHDC’s Corporate Strategy is to work with the agricultural community to realise opportunities for growth.
