MARATHON TOUR

We’ve been privileged to get a close-up look at excellence in agriculture.

Thank you to the McCosker family for treating the CHDC Board and staff to a tour of Marathon Wagyu.

We enjoyed going behind the gates to see this incredible operation in action and believe on-site visits are invaluable in keeping CHDC plugged in to the successes and challenges of our local industries.

The stud near Emerald was named Agribusiness of the Year at our 2025 Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards, and supplied the melt-in-your-mouth beef for our Farm to Fine Dining event in June.

Marathon Wagyu was also a participant in Smarter, Stronger Ag Through Farm Data, a joint initiative of CHDC and the Department of Primary Industries.

This tour took place before the latest CHDC Board meeting earlier this week.
