• Launched Central Highlands Grant Finder • Facilitated 10 business development workshops • Held nine business networking events • 2023 Economic Futures Forum
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
• Revamped Jobs Hub Central Queensland Highlands website • Commissioned CH Invest Concept Study • Supported Future Skills Facilitator Study
ADVOCACY + PROMOTION
• Hosted the 7th Farm to Fine Dining • Coordinated regional tour by QLD Chief Entrepreneur and Innovation Advisory Council • Reached average of 12,900 social media users per month
INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT
• Entered Rubyvale in 2023 Queensland Top Tourism Town Awards • Welcomed 18,321 visitors through the Visitor Information Centres • Surveyed agribusinesses on priorities and challenges to inform future programs • Sold-out 2022 Resources and Innovation Forum
INVESTMENT ATTRACTION
• Support and assistance to prospective investors • 2022-23 Major Projects report highlighted almost 30 projects with a combined value of $3 billion
STRATEGY + PLANNING
• Adopted 2022-24 Corporate Strategy, providing a clear direction • Commenced revision of 5-year Action Plan for 2047 Central Highlands Economic Master Plan
