THINKING ABOUT A LAND ACCESS AGREEMENT?

If you’ve been approached by a gas company — or think you might be — it’s worth taking the time to understand what’s involved before any agreements are signed.

Coexistence Queensland is bringing its Landholder Support Program to the Central Highlands, with two free, in-person sessions designed especially for landholders who are entering (or considering) land access discussions.

Our region’s gas industry is growing, as highlighted in CHDC’s new Mining and Energy Capability Statement, making these types of events even more relevant.

These sessions are practical and down to earth, focusing on what landholders really want to know:
what your rights are, what your obligations might be, and what questions you should be asking before you agree to anything. There’s plenty of time to ask questions and get clear, independent information to help you make confident decisions for your property.

Session details:

  • Rolleston – Monday 23 March, 3.00–6.00 pm
Rolleston Memorial Hall, 17 Warrijo Street
  • Springsure – Tuesday 24 March, 3.00–6.00 pm
Springsure Bauhinia Memorial Hall, 31 Eclipse Street

Places are limited, so registration is essential.

If you’d like to know more or talk directly with someone from Coexistence Queensland, local contact Warwick Squire can be reached at warwick.squire@cqld.org.au.

Please feel free to share this with anyone who may be heading into land access discussions — a bit of early information can make a big difference.
