The Road Ahead in 2025

This year, thousands of visitors have joined us to Explore More of the Central Queensland Highlands (CQH), and preparations are already underway to welcome them again in 2025, with new projects supported by CHDC to be rolled out in the months ahead, including:
• Preparation of the new CQH Visitor Guide, which will be an update on our 2023/24 guide.
• Service updates to the CQH Website with improved online business information links to tourism trail details.
• New interpretive signage for geo-tourism trails, with links back to the CQH website.
The CQH website has been identified as one of the most visited sites in the region and new features will be added to include lifestyle videos and the ability for local businesses to engage more with tourism drive trails if they wish to do so.
Advertising placement will soon be available for the CQH Visitor Guide. The booklet will include QR code links to our website and be distributed to most of Queensland’s Visitor Information Centres (VICs) and to more than 400 other accredited VICs around Australia. It will also be available as an online guide.
