Congratulations to the Central Highlands businesses who’ve been named among 2024’s Best of Queensland tourism experiences.

The dozen include five from the Sapphire Gemfields and three from Carnarvon National Park.

The program is an initiative of Tourism and Events Queensland and identifies and recognises businesses that consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.

These are some of the boxes an operator needs to tick to get the turquoise stamp of approval: 

• Consistent delivery of an exceptional experience based on positive customer reviews; 
• Website with secure online booking; 
• Active and engaging social media presence; 
• Regional Tourism Organisation membership;  
• Accreditation.
