DOUBLE HONOURS FOR TOURISM AMBASSADORS

We’re feeling immensely proud of our team at the Central Queensland Highlands Visitor Information Centre (VIC).

Long-time volunteer Glen Wass has been named a Volunteer of the Year at the 2024 QICA* Conference.

The VIC also won a WOW! Award for “an amazing team of volunteers and delivering excellent service”.

Glen, his wife and fellow volunteer Jeanette, and VIC Coordinator Pamela Gangadoo attended last month’s event in Kingaroy, getting to know other industry folk from across QLD and experiencing the tourism attractions of the South Burnett region.
