CHDC is looking for volunteers to appear in a series of videos being filmed to help attract more skilled workers to the Central Highlands.
We specifically need residents from the following areas:
- Early childhood care and education
- Construction
- Health
- Mining
- Trade
Important information:
- These are unpaid positions and you will be required for up to half a day
- We will need to seek approval from your employer
- Filming is likely to take place at the end of June – dates TBC
- You can be from anywhere in the Central Highlands but filming will take place in the Emerald and Blackwater areas

- Occupation
- Employer name and contact information
- Length of time you’ve lived in the Central Highlands
- State if you have a partner and / or children who would also be willing to appear in the videos. Preference will be given if the partner works in one of the following sectors: agriculture; retail; manufacturing; health; education; hospitality; government
Background
This project is part of a talent attraction campaign for the Central Highlands, being developed by CHDC and NeonLogic.
It’s part of a broader workforce development program, initiated by the Central Highlands Resources Roundtable to help address the region’s skilled labour challenges.
