Astrolomy Managing Director Mike Dalley delivered an inspiring presentation on dark sky tourism, focusing on how the Central Highlands can tap into a sector projected to triple in value by 2033.

Queensland Country Tourism Marketing Manager Felicite Cootes’ insights on volunteer recruitment included drawing upon the motives of connectivity, compassion, and contractual; and the potential of targeting the under-20 demographic.

Felicite also shared statistics that showed visitor numbers for the Central Highlands peak in April, September and December; and the growing market of young families.
