Harness the power of farm data

24 January 2024

If cash is King, then data is Queen. It’s a snappy statement but the true power of data, such as that which is collected on your farm, lies in knowing how to use it.

That’s where we come in!

CHDC and the CQ Smart Cropping Centre are teaming up to deliver a free program to encourage the uptake of on-farm data collection and management tools in the Central Highlands region.

It will start with February’s workshop Smarter, Stronger Ag Through Farm Data. A variety of experts will be at the event to help you make sense of your data and explain the tools and solutions that can make the data a valuable asset to your agribusiness.

Attendees can ask any burning questions to the presenters and will hear examples of how the implementation of data tools has really helped other QLD agribusinesses.

We will also use the event to explain next phase of the program, which will give several Central Highlands agribusinesses the opportunity to trial data tools, completely free until December 2024.

Though this workshop is primarily aimed at crop producers, horticulture and livestock producers, and anyone else in agriculture is welcome to attend.

  • WHEN: 9:00am – 3:00pm, Tuesday, 6 February
  • WHERE: CQ Smart Cropping Centre, Capricorn Highway, Emerald
