Hello! My name is Jessamine Davison.

I am so excited to join the dynamic CHDC team and be part of its journey to boost economic opportunities for our vibrant community, especially at a time when innovation and technology are significantly reshaping the agriculture sector.

If you don’t already know me, you can read more about my background in this website’s About Us section but in a nutshell, I’ve had almost 20 years’ experience in the Central Highlands’ thriving agriculture industry.

I’m now looking forward to the next phase of my career, with plenty of highlights at CHDC already on the cards, including:

• 2024 Central Highlands Farm to Fine Dining: CHDC’s invitation-only regional produce showcase in Brisbane tomorrow night will bring together producers and other stakeholders from our region, and key decision-makers in the city, for progressive discussions, networking and a delicious three-course meal. • AGTECH24: Mark your calendars for November 20th and 21st, when CHDC’s AGTECH24 will welcome international guests and showcase cutting-edge tech solutions addressing farming challenges unique to the Central Highlands. • Expanded Market Access: Following a successful campaign, Australia has secured expanded market access for table grapes in Japan. This achievement opens new doors for our region’s growers. Read more.

The focus of the Central Highlands’ thriving agriculture industry is clear: to enhance profitability through sustainable practices such as efficient water and energy use, and reductions in inputs. The region’s producers are leading the charge by pioneering the implementation of agtech solutions that set new standards in agricultural excellence.
