Connecting, Inspiring and Growing Business in 2026

4 February 2026

I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas break and are feeling refreshed for the year ahead.

As we step into 2026, CHDC has a fantastic series of business events and workshops planned, all designed to connect our business community, build capability, and support sustainable growth. These are opportunities you won’t want to miss.

We’re kicking things off with our first monthly networking event tomorrow evening, 6 February, right here at the CHDC office. These sessions are a great way to meet other local business owners, share ideas, and build valuable connections. If you haven’t been to one before, this is the perfect time to start!

In March, we’re excited to present Mastering Microsoft 365, a series of six unique workshops. Whether you’re looking for a deep dive in a full-day session or a targeted half-day workshop, these sessions will give you practical tools and insights to make the most of your digital workspace. Our website’s events calendar has all the details.

Queensland Small Business Month in May is always a highlight! We’re thrilled to be facilitating FREE Mentoring for Growth sessions right here in the Central Highlands, giving you face-to-face opportunities with two expert mentors. These sessions are all about providing tailored advice, fresh ideas, and practical solutions to help your business thrive. It’s a fantastic chance to strengthen your business and gain insights from experienced professionals.

Plus, save the date of Wednesday 13 May for CHDC’s Small Business Month Lunch. This is where we’ll come together to recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution of small businesses across the Central Highlands.

I’m excited to support you in achieving your business goals this year, and I look forward to connecting and working with you throughout 2026. Stay up to date with all the CHDC news and events by following us on Facebook and LinkedIn.
