
Busy Times for Business Facilitation

It’s been a busy start to the year, with plenty of behind-the-scenes activity in the Business Facilitation space here at CHDC.
Our recent business plan essentials workshop, Roadmap to Results, attracted a fantastic turnout, with participants diving into the fundamentals of planning for the future. The discussions were engaging and the insights shared will no doubt be valuable as businesses refine their strategies. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with everyone at the end of March for our second session.
CHDC’s monthly business networking events are also off to a great start, with an impressive turnout at Emerald’s Outback Steakhouse and Tavern last Friday night. The venue was top-notch, the hospitality was outstanding, and it was great to see so many familiar faces and new connections being made. Mark your calendar and RSVP here for the next session on Friday, 7 March, from 5:00pm at the Capricornian Restaurant.
Preparations are also in full swing in the background ahead of the 3 March launch of the 2025 Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards. As part of this biennial celebration of our region’s businesses, CHDC’s planning a variety of workshops over the next few months to help businesses put their best foot forward. Keep an eye on our website for more details about these in-person and online sessions.
I will also be travelling across the Central Highlands next month to connect face-to-face with businesses, share information and discuss opportunities for the future. I’m looking forward to catching up with many of you on the road.
