A Sapphire Gemfields Refresher

One of the great things about being a tourism ambassador is you get to sample the product!

With the Central Highlands’ tourism season just around the corner, CHDC’s Visitor Information Centre crew has taken a tour across the Sapphire Gemfields to get a refresher on what’s on offer for travellers.

The hospitality on display was top-notch and we thank all the businesses for their warm welcome – Armfest, Blue Gem Tourist Park, Pats Sapphire Central, Rubyvale Gem Gallery, Rubyvale Miners Cottage, Sapphire Caravan & Cabin Park, and Sparrows Perch.

Familiarisation tours are about giving the team a deeper knowledge of our region, strengthening relationships with local operators, and improving the accuracy and quality of visitor advice.
