SESAME FIELD DAY – EMERALD
Showcasing the latest results from the Sesame Central Research Programs
CQUniversity, the Cooperative Research Centre for Developing Northern Australia (CRCNA), AgriFutures Australia, Queensland Department of Primary Industries (QLD DPI) and AgriVentis Technologies will showcase the latest results from the Sesame Central Research Programs during a field day at the CQSCC.
Local growers, advisors and anyone interested in learning about the effect of nitrogen on sesame production, seeing the sesame varieties developed for commercial production and hearing about weed, pest and disease management are invited to join in the morning activities.
Results of the winter spice (kalonji and fennel) trials grown at the CQSCC in 2025 will be shared.
- 7:30 am to 9:30 am – meet at the carpark to ride the bus to the field.
- Breakfast will be served in the paddock.
