AGTECH ADVISOR WORKSHOP – EMERALD

The Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF) is delivering training to upskill agribusiness advisors and primary producers in connectivity technologies, the use of drones and satellite technologies for precision agriculture and other technological integrations as well as ESG (environmental, social and governance) requirements and enabling technologies.

Each session will be facilitated by Sonya Comiskey, Managing Director of Pine Tree Projects.

Guest speakers include:

  • Tim Neale, Managing Director of DataFarming.
  • Claire Mahony, Ceres and Co and Industry Advisory Group Member, Net Zero Emissions Agriculture CRC.
  • Dr Rachel Hay, Associate Professor at James Cook University.
  • Marcus Bulstrode, Senior Development Officer at Department of Primary Industries.

Advisors will gain tools and resources to help producers accelerate adoption and integrate fit-for-purpose solutions into their operations. The program also provides networking with experts and peers, equipping advisors to confidently guide clients in sugar, horticulture, and broadacre sectors through digital transformation.
