After six fantastic years in partnership with BMA, CHDC wishes to advise that the Business Development and Support Program has temporarily drawn to a close while new funding arrangements are sought.
The Business Development and Support Program has worked tirelessly over the past six years to deliver guidance, strategies and initiatives to hundreds of local businesses. CHDC sincerely thanks BMA for its support over the program’s duration, and for demonstrating its commitment to the ongoing sustainable growth of the Central Highlands. CHDC also thanks Business Development Officer Ranee Parsons for the incredible commitment, expertise and drive that she brought to the role over her two years employed with CHDC.
As a not-for-profit organisation, CHDC is only able to provide services whilst they are sustainably funded. CHDC is currently undertaking negotiations to ensure that this critical program can be continued for the benefit of all business represented across the region. We anticipate that the revitalised program will be back up and running in the next few months but remain committed to keeping businesses informed along the way.
CHDC will continue to deliver resources and tools to local businesses during the interim period to ensure local businesses are supported as much as possible, including maintaining the booming Business Directory and providing relevant content across the website and social media.

CHDC is also continuing to host events that support the development and growth of local businesses and increasing their opportunities to grow supply chain capacity in line with shifting regional economic trends.
